  Sadie

I held my breath and bit my lip as I stared up at the man standing at the foot of my bed. I’d woken from a dream featuring his face only to find him standing here, a dream come true. No matter how he got into my apartment. The fact that this was finally happening was more than I ever could have hoped for.

“Did you think I never noticed you, Sadie?” His velvet voice slid over me as he removed his shirt in one smooth motion, then pushed his pants and boxers down his legs. I gaped at the erection between his legs, already hard and pointing straight at me.

“I didn’t think you knew who I was,” I whispered. “We’ve never even met.”

“Of course I know you. We were meant to be together.” He grabbed at the blanket covering me and whipped it aside, putting my naked body on display. I didn’t remember taking off my clothes.

  “Did you undress me?”

“I had to get to you as soon as possible.” I sighed as he settled over me, pressing his chest against mine and rubbing his cock between my legs. “I don’t want to wait anymore, Sadie. I’m going to to fuck this pussy until you can’t walk, and then I’ll have you suck my cock until my knees give out.”

“Please,” I begged, shocked by the need in my own voice. “I need it.”

“I know you do, baby girl. Now turn over. I want to see that perfect ass while I fuck you raw.”

I did as he asked, amazed at how he anticipated my needs so well despite not knowing me. He spread my ass with his hands, and I couldn’t help but bury my head in the pillow in shame. No one had ever seen me with my clothes off, much less there.

“This is perfect,” he muttered, one finger swirling around my back entrance with enticing slowness. I shuddered at the sensation it sent rolling up my spine. “I can’t wait to fuck you here too. I’m going to have you everywhere.”

“Of course you can,” I whined. “I saved myself for you, Richard. I never wanted anyone else.”

“Fuck, you’re perfect.” And with one smooth stroke, no warning at all, he slammed into me. I couldn’t help but cry out at the surge of pleasure that flooded my body, his thick rod sending me immediately over the edge into the best orgasm of my life. How did it feel so good when he hadn’t done anything but enter me?

My ringing phone snapped me out of the dream all too quickly, and suddenly I knew why I’d come so fast. I lay sweaty and tangled in my sheets, still very much clothed but with my hand down the front of my pants and fingers pressed against my throbbing clit.

That was the best one so far.

I sucked my fingers clean and reached for my phone, my cheeks reddening as I read the caller ID—the son of the man I’d just had a sex dream about.

“Jonathan!” I exclaimed, bringing the phone to my ear. “What’s up!”

“What’s up is I’m going to be outside your apartment in ten minutes. Don’t tell me you just woke up.”

“Sorry,” I said, pushing aside the covers and running to the bathroom. “I had a dream I couldn’t quite shake.”

“Well, get your ass ready and get downstairs. You’re going to die when I get here. Dad sent over a surprise.”

My face broke into a wide grin. Of course he would. “That sounds awesome, Jonathan. I’ll see you soon!” I hung up the phone and rushed to get dressed and comb my hair, trying to smooth away all traces of the sex dream I’d just had that was sure to linger with me all day.

“Are you ready for the best staycation ever?” I grinned as I looked at my best friend from across the wide expanse of the limo his dad had sent to my apartment. We were sipping champagne even though it wasn’t even brunch time yet, again courtesy of his father. Unable to afford to go out of town, Jonathan had suggested we go to his childhood house for a week to get away from the stresses of our jobs and daily lives. A giant pool, a staff to care for our every need, and all free on top of it … who could turn that down?

Truth be told, I was scared stiff of meeting Jonathan’s dad. Though we had never met before, I knew the man intimately … in my fantasies.

Jonathan had showed me his wikipedia page when we first got to know each other in college. Richard Thornton was a silver fox, and I fell for him the first time I saw the his photo. He looked so powerful and strong in his office, the one he’d taken over when it was six months from failing. It took him half as long to rebuild the company to one of the strongest firms in the country. From then on, all other guys had been completely ruined for me. Everyone got compared to Richard straight away, no second chances. I couldn’t help myself. It was particularly pathetic when you realized I didn’t even know what his voice sounded like until a few months ago when he gave a press conference. I recorded it so I could watch it again later, my eyes closed as his voice washed over me in my dark apartment. And with that weapon, I had the best orgasm of my life.

Whether or not he was around, though, this was going to be a great vacation. I was the youngest person at my firm by far, and I really felt the pressure to perform in front of all the older people who knew exactly what they were doing. I’d nearly had a breakdown a few weeks ago, when my boss pulled me aside at a job fair I was helping out with and insisted I hire some fresh-faced college graduate who looked even younger than me. She didn’t even have any experience in the position we hired her for, but my boss was resolute. I thought she was going to replace me until he texted me later that day, asking for her name and contact information. I smiled at my phone now as I texted him to say he needed to talk to her sooner rather than later, before someone else snatched her up. He just told me to be quiet and enjoy my vacation.

“We’re here!” I locked my phone and looked up as my jaw hit the floor.

“You grew up here?” The car was pulling up in front of Jonathan’s house. No, house wasn’t the right word. It was a freaking mansion.

He laughed. “Remember, it seemed normal for me. After my mom took off, Dad moved out of the master bedroom to be closer to me. We didn’t lose each other in here; I grew up very close with him.”

My heart swelled with even more admiration for the man I was about to meet. He hadn’t let his wealth and success turn him into a stereotype—he’d gone out of his way to make sure he had a good relationship with his son. I hadn’t even realized Jonathan was wealthy until he told me himself. It seemed strange that anyone with a driver and personal chef could be so well-adjusted.

At the same time, my knees were knocking together. My heart raced in my chest. Regardless of the fact I was in love with him, Richard was a powerful man. Maybe he wouldn’t even have time for his son’s dopey best friend. I was excited to spend the week here with Jonathan, but I didn’t have any illusions about how often Richard and I would be seeing each other. Surely he would be too busy running an empire to spend any time with me.

The car stopped and my door opened, a hand reaching inside to offer me assistance in stepping out.

“Why thank you,” I said with a giggle, as I took the warm palm in mine. The vacation was off to a running start already. I could feel calluses on the palm but the skin was still soft. “I feel like…”

The words died in my throat as I looked up at the man helping me out of the car. This was no porter or valet. Richard Thornton himself was staring me in the face. Those intense green eyes were finally focused on me, and I quailed underneath their power.

“Go on,” he said, soft voice caressing my body. I shivered a little. I tried to pull my hand f
rom his, but he held me fast. “You feel like a what?”

  I swallowed. “A princess.”

He smiled so wide it knocked me back on my feet. He tugged me forward to keep me upright, drawing me a few inches closer to him.

“Sadie’s a bit of a romantic.” Jonathan’s voice shattered our reverie. Richard dropped my hand, only to move his palm to the small of my back.

“Well, so am I, so I think we’ll get along just fine.” He turned to me and smiled. “What do you think, princess?”

I swallowed and nodded. I was struck completely mute. Here he was, standing right next to me, touching me, and I couldn’t bring myself to say more than two words.

  “Did you bring any luggage?”

My head bobbed again, the very motion making my stomach roll. His hand ran up my back soothingly.

  “I’ll bring it inside myself.”

I suppressed a little moan as we finally broke contact, but he was by my side again in an instant to lead me into the house, one hand on my back and the other holding my small luggage.

“I guess I’ll just get my own things, then.” Jonathan sounded a little huffy.

“You know the place well enough,” Richard called over his shoulder. He smirked at me. “For a princess, though, I know just the room.”

The house was gorgeous and modern, with artwork on the walls and comfortable furniture in every room. This was a house where people really lived, I could tell. But it still seemed a bit lonely and empty. How did Richard stand living here by himself?

“You have a lovely home,” I commented, finally finding the guts to talk. His hand moved to my shoulder and squeezed gently. Being touched by a stranger should have sent my alarm bells ringing, but all I wanted was to sink deeper into his embrace.

“Thank you, princess. It does have a certain lonely quality to it, though, with just me here.” We caught each other’s gazes out of the corners of our eyes, and I looked down and away with a blush. Did he read my mind?

“I hope we won’t bother you too much while we’re here for the week.”

“On the contrary, I’m quite excited to have you and Jonathan here. It will be a wonderful opportunity to catch up with him, and of course to know you a little bit better.”

A shiver ran through my body. The way he said he wanted to know me … it didn’t sound completely innocent. But that was ridiculous; I had to be reading too much into his words. The man was decades older than me, and he probably had women pounding down his door what with his good looks and fat bank account.

“I look forward to getting to know you, too,” I said quietly, and his fingers tightened against me. “What—”

I didn’t get a chance to finish my thought as he swung open the door in front of us, and my jaw dropped for the second time that day. The room he took me to had to be the master bedroom. I put my hands over my mouth as I stared around the space, easily larger than my own tiny apartment back in the city. A giant king-sized bed took up the center of the room, with plenty of space around it for two more its size. There was a large TV in front of a couch and an easy chair, all covered in plush blue microfiber, and through a door to the side I ogled the walk-in closet.

  “Is this your bedroom?”

He chuckled a little, no doubt amused by the awe in my voice. “It was, a long time ago. It’s yours now.”

I turned to find him very close to me, our chests inches away despite the vast space around us. I quailed once more. “Well, I’ll only be here for a week.”

“Hmm.” He reached up to brush a strand of hair off my forehead, still staring at me with a kind of smirk on his face. And some part of me—call it woman’s intuition—told me right then and there I was never leaving this house.

  Richard

When Jonathan said he was bringing his best friend to stay at our house for a week as part of a cheap, stay-at-home vacation, I expected another guy. I thought we’d spend the week watching sports and drinking beer, maybe go out on the four-wheelers. His mother and I were pretty young when we had him, and I still had plenty of spring left in my step. I knew how to have a good time, even if my son sometimes rolled his eyes at my dad jokes. But then he told me his best friend was a girl, and I took pause. What would she be like? Would she fawn all over me, knowing I was single and had money to spare? Or would she clam up and shrink into herself, intimidated by my power? I had to get out to see her for myself. The moment her small palm landed in mine, I my heart fluttered in my chest in a way I hadn’t felt for years. And when I met her eyes…

  I was gone.

Thank God my son was interested in men and had left this beautiful woman for me. I didn’t give a shit she was his age. I didn’t care at all she was twenty years younger than me. I wanted her, and based on the way she leaned into my hand whenever I touched her, she wanted me too.

Was it really possible there could be something between us, even though I’d only known her for a few minutes?

I stared at her in the room I had shared with the last woman I had loved, the woman who had broken my heart so many years ago and left me bitter and broken. My ex-wife was the furthest thing from my mind. Everything was forgotten. The only thing that mattered was the angel in front of me, so close I couldn’t help but reach out to caress her face.

“Well, I’ll only be here a week.”

“Hmm.” I smiled as she batted her eyes at me. God, I couldn’t get enough of her eyes. She could think whatever she wanted, but I had no intention of letting her walk out of this house at the end of the week. She could commute to her job, as long as she came home each night to this bedroom. My bedroom. Our bedroom.

“Would you like something to drink?” I gestured to the bar I kept along the wall and her eyes bugged out once more. No one had touched that liquor for some time, but it kept well, right?

  “It’s only noon.”

I smiled at her hesitance. She was acting shy and coy, but her body was turned towards me, arms twisted so her perfect young breasts pushed up through her top. I resisted the urge to lick my lips and kept my eyes on her face.

“You’re on vacation, right? Live a little.”

She smiled slowly and shrugged one shoulder. “If you insist.”

I poured her a measure of a whiskey that was probably older than she was, then led her to the balcony doors. She gasped for the hundredth time as she took in the view from the bedroom balcony.

“This is breathtaking. How could you ever leave this room?”

“With only one person in here, it was all too big.” I let my hand go around her waist. She stiffened at first, and I almost pulled away. I didn’t want to spook her; perhaps I’d finally gone too far. But she quickly relaxed and leaned against me, letting her head rest against my shoulder. “It doesn’t feel too bad right now, though.”

She hid her smile in her glass.

  “Sadie?”

She looked up at me, lips slightly parted, a droplet of whiskey on her plump bottom lip. I had only had a few sips of my own drink, but I felt woozy just looking at her. My hand extended of its own accord, my thumb trailing across her lip and capturing that drop of moisture.

“You spilled some,” I murmured. My thumb lingered on her lip. And then, tentatively, her tongue peeked out from between her lips and to taste the pad of my finger.

I groaned. I couldn’t help it. My cock went from limp to a raging hard-on in a second. I stepped closer to her, unable to ignore the animal pull between us any longer. I set my glass on the railing of the balcony to free my hand, wrapping it around the back of her neck and tugging her toward me.

  “Richard,” she gasped.

Those lips wouldn’t be open for much longer. I had to claim them, make them mine. I had the feeling this was going to be the most important kiss of my life, the last moment I would ever spend as a bachelor. Call me crazy, but there was something special about this girl. She spoke to me. And by the way her tiny fingers had fisted the fabric of my shirt and pulled me toward her, I thought she felt it too.r />
  “Dad? Sadie?”

We jumped apart as the bedroom doors opened and Jonathan walked into the room, though I noticed she stayed close enough to me that our shoulders were still touching. I grabbed my glass again and dropped my hands in front of my crotch to hide the tightening in my pants.

“There you guys are. I thought we could go down to the pool.” Jonathan looked at me a little strangely, then smiled when he saw our glasses. “Great idea, Dad, I think I might fill up myself.”

God, seeing this girl in a swimsuit? I would completely lose my mind. But I was going to have to come up with some way to keep myself under control, because there was no way I was walking away from her.

“That sounds like a great idea, Jonathan.” I smiled as I willed my cock to reduce to a normal size. It wasn’t proper for me to stay in the room while she was changing, right? At least my head was on straight enough I knew that. I just wanted to make sure she didn’t get away while I had my back turned. “Why don’t you get changed, Sadie, and I’ll meet you in the hallway to bring you down.”

“Oh, I think I can find it myself.” I looked at her, puzzled. Her cheeks were red, and she was staring at her feet. She shifted a little so we were no longer touching. Did she not want me around? My heart started to thud. How had I managed to blow this already? I couldn’t leave now. I needed to stay and fix whatever was wrong.

Jonathan had other plans for me. “Come on, Dad. Give the lady some privacy.”

Every cell in my body commanded me to stay right next to Sadie, take her face in my hands, and force her to tell me what had changed. Whatever had come over her, whatever had suddenly made her nervous, I could fix it. But walked toward her suitcase, and my son was leading me by the hand away from the most beautiful woman in the world.

  Sadie

What in the hell was I thinking? This was my best friend’s dad, and we’d just about made out on the balcony of his master bedroom. The room he used to share with Jonathan’s mom! I had to get myself under control. It was one thing to admire Richard from behind my computer screen, another altogether to lick his thumb and let him press his hard body against me. Wrap my hands in his shirt. Imagine the taste of his lips…
